The most amazing out of any sport

THIS MAN that I've known about for awhile now but never truly new about him, just showed me so much today. He in my opinion is the GREATEST COACH out of ANY SPORT in an OVERALL basis EVEN THOUGH he only coached ONE sport. Not just coaching on the court, but in life itself also.
Made it in the hall of fame for not only playing basketball...but then a second time for coaching it.

He has the most amazing quotes ever, and the most knowledge.

Recently though, this powerful man died at the big age of 99 living from 1910-2010.
Even at the age 97 his brain was smarter and faster working than mine. Remembering poems and speeches that would take most people (including myself) a long time to memorize.

He was married to the first women he ever kissed and the only women he ever kissed and dated. Loving her with so much love one can't stand. And even as she passed away, he talks to her every day, and at the 21st of every month, writes a letter to her that no one but him and her can see. for 30 years he was doing that.

Winning 10 championships in 12 years, and winning over 620 games, 85 straight in a row. Coaching for UCLA, but used to live and play in the mid west

A great man, with a great personality, a great player, fantastic coach, husband, father, and so on.

This man...is.........John Robert Wooden

Fail.

What I have failed to mention is that I have seen more football movies this summer than I ever have before. Some I've seen, most I havn't , some are favs. some sad, some happy. I'll give football credit....there movies are truely inspirational. Heres the list :

Remember the Titans
Rudy
Brain's Song
Invincible
We are Marshall
The Blind Side

and I am soon to see Express.

For me Remember the Titans is one of my favorite movies (as seen on my favorite movies list) Its funny, sad, powerful, and at the end I just want to scream WAY TO GO. The music makes the power even stronger and I love the acting. My dad and I can recite practically all the lines from it. I can watch it 3 times in a row and never get sick of it. I love this movie sooooo much.

The problem My dad and I always have is the factor that what is are favorite football movie.
Well The blind Side might have been good (I didnt cry like most did) but for me, its not really a football movie. more about someone helping some one else,, out. Rudy is AMAZING also, and at the end Im always left crying and thinking, "the feelings he must have felt" but this isn't so much a football movie, as more of a motivational story. Brain's song, was another classic favorite, that for the last 20 minutes of it, im crying, but its not my favorite football movie. Invincible was good, and powerful, but not like the others. And after seeing We are Marshall, I dont know whether to put that or remember the titans as my favorite. I cried so hard, smiled, laughed, and felt so much emotion.

While I figure out what my favorite FOOTBALL movie is, at the moment its a tie. With Remember the Titans as my powerful movie, and We are Marshall as my sad movie.

RECAP

Ok so I havn't been on in this whole week but lets just recap what has happened,

Grandma Jean has come from Stoke-On-Trent, England, to Sunny California....except right now the weather has been glummy mornings, to hot periods of the day, to cloudy again.

Grandma has some pretty funny quotes coming soon.

Anna turned 15! Congrats to her and I hope she had a great birthday!

Conditioning camp started and ended. And let me tell u, I should have been working out more.

Been relazxing everyday, with messages, and doing people crosswords. With late nights watching the old 80's movies. Dazed and Confused and Fast Times at Ridgemount high...dazed and confused is better to me.

Degrassi THE BOILING POINT has been on....whats not to love about that?

We are coming to an end of this week, and im feeling a little more in shape, a little more 80's, and a little more british
